Alexandra Genord joined Bartlit Beck in 2022. Alex represents clients in a variety of complex, high-stakes disputes, including professional malpractice actions and securities litigation, in state and federal courts across the country.
Alex joined the firm following clerkships with the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr. on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable Michael Y. Scudder on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and the University of Notre Dame.
Representative Matters
Tricarichi v. PricewaterhouseCoopers (Nevada State Court)
Successfully defended PwC in an accounting malpractice case brought by a former client seeking nearly $30 million in damages. After a two-week bench trial, the Court found in favor of PwC on every element of Plaintiff's negligence claim, and further determined that PwC had proven that the plaintiff's claim was time-barred.
