Mike Valaik and Kate Swift Defeat Pfizer Motion to Invalidate Bayer’s Bovine Drug Patent

Bartlit Beck defeated Pfizer’s summary judgment motion to invalidate Bayer’s bovine drug patent.  The court rejected Pfizer’s argument that the patent was indefinite.  Bartlit Beck attorneys Katherine Minarik, Michael Valaik, and Kate Swift wrote the opposition brief against Pfizer’s motion. Katherine Minarik defended Bayer’s patent at the oral argument. Other members of the Bartlit Beck team are Peter Bensinger, Jr., Scott McBride, and Reid Bolton.
