Bartlit Beck Defeats Centralization in Large Proposed Patent MDL

Kat Hacker, Andy Baak, Rob Addy and team successfully defeated a motion to centralize 23 patent cases into multidistrict litigation, or an MDL. More plaintiffs have been seeking consolidation into multidistrict litigation since the Supreme Court limited patent venue in TC Heartland v. Kraft Foods. Opinion here.
