Bartlit Beck Secures Victory in Patent Infringement Case

A Bartlit Beck team led by Nevin Gewertz and Rebecca Horwitz secured a victory for Northwestern University in a patent infringement case against Universal Robots. After a four-day trial in the U.S. District Court for Delaware, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Northwestern University and awarded $6.6M in damages. John Hughes, Mac LeBuhn, Katherine Rhoades, and Ravi Shah were also an instrumental part of the Bartlit Beck team.
