Mark Ferguson, Mark Ouweleen, and Faye Paul Teller win rare defense victory in EDTX patent infringement trial for Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Mark Ferguson, Mark Ouweleen, and Faye Paul Teller, together with co-counsel representing Hewlett Packard Enterprise, won a complete defense verdict against Network-1 Technologies, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Network-1 sought over $90 million in damages for alleged infringement of a patent on Power Over Ethernet technology. After a two-week trial, the jury returned a verdict of both non-infringement as to all accused products and invalidity as to all asserted patent claims.
