Bartlit Beck Obtains Defense Verdict for Pratt & Whitney in Palm Beach Cancer Case

Sean Gallagher, Andrew MacNally, Dan McElroy Alex Groden, and William Gohl, along with co-counsel from Gunster Yoakley, obtained a defense verdict for our client Pratt & Whitney in a case alleging that Pratt & Whitney caused the cancer cluster that was designated by the Florida Department of Health in The Acreage neighborhood near the company's facility in Jupiter, Florida. The jury returned a complete defense verdict, finding that the plaintiffs failed to prove that Pratt & Whitney ever released contaminated materials into The Acreage.
